The Town Office will be closed until further notice for office renovation. The side window on Walker St will be open for all business transactions starting Monday, September 21. Anticipated to reopen in two weeks.

Unfortunately we are cancelling the August show at the Pavilion as the virus continues to remain a constant threat. We are holding off on cancelling the remaining shows in hopes that we will have a clearer opportunity to provide great entertainment with minimal threat of becoming sick. Stay safe, social distance and wear your mask in close spaces.
Crews are working on a water leak in the Thynedale area. If you live in this area you may experience water pressure issues. We do not have an estimated time of repair at this time.
UPDATE: The estimated repair time for the water break in Thynedale is 7:00 pm.
Effective Tuesday, July 21, 2020, mask will be required upon entering the Town Office.
Crews are working on a water line repair on Calcium Street. Estimated time of completion is 8:30 this evening.
The Town Office will be closed Friday, July 3 for Independence Day Weekend. We will reopen the lobby Monday, July 6 and follow recommended social distancing.
The Friday trash run will be delayed until Monday, July 6 due to the long holiday weekend. We will conduct a double run Monday to get back on schedule. There are dumpsters at the Town Shop and at the old Jonbil facility if you need to empty your trash before we get to you on Monday. Thanks to everyone and have a Happy 4th of July!
We have Spring and Fall cleanups that we are happy to take on for our community. Any debris put out curbside anytime other than cleanup week may incur a pick up fee, so contact the Town Shop at 372-3220/5022 for questions about pickup. There is a $25.00 minimum charge.
Please DO NOT flush shop towels or paper towels down the toilet. This can cause a major disruption in the sewer system. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
