Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on October 14th, 2025, at 7:00 pm, by the Chase City Planning Commission and the Chase City Town Council at 525 N. Main Street, Chase City, Virginia, to consider the following:
The Chase City Town Council has received an application for a Conditional Use Permit submitted by Matthew Chumney (for location at 316 Mecklenburg Drive) to provide the opportunity for future development of Apartments.

The Town of Chase City will be holding a sealed bid auction. Bids must be in by September 18th, 2025 by 12:00 p.m. Bids will be opened September 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. There will be pre-bid inspections September 15-17, 2025. You can obtain a required bid sheet under downloads on this website or pick one up at the Town Office located at 525 N Main Street, Chase City, VA. Winning bids must be paid for and items picked up by September 19th, 2025 by 5:00 pm. Sealed bids can be mailed or brought to the Town Office at 525 N Main Street, Chase City, VA 23924. We also have a drop box at that location for your convenience. You can call the town shop at 434-372-3220 if you have further questions.
