Fair Housing Statement
April is National Fair Housing Month! On April 11,1968, President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1968; Title VIII of that law is known as the Fair Housing Act. The Fair Housing Act, as amended, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability and family status.
