We are happy to announce that our new Voyent system is live! If you have not signed up yet to get the latest alerts for your area, it’s not too late. There are three ways to sign up. You can go to the app store and download the Voyent Alert app. You can sign up at register.voyent-alert.us or you can simply come into the town office and we would be happy to sign you up. Be sure to put your address and name when registering because many alerts will be sent to only localities effected.
Chase City Town Council will be having a special called meeting on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 6:00pm. The meeting will take place at the Estes Center, 316 N Main Street, Chase City.
Beginning next week, a contractor will begin work repaving Main Street. Please avoid parking along Main Street until the paving work is completed.
Notice to Water Service Customers:
A Boil Water Notice has been issued as a safety precaution resulting from a water line repair today on West Sycamore Street.
We will inform you when you no longer need to boil your water.

Public Works will be repairing a water main leak on West Sycamore on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Residents and businesses may lose water and/or water pressure during the repair. The repairs will be completed as quickly as possible.
Also, W Sycamore Street will be closed from Pettus Street to High Street during the repair.
Alzheimer Support is a free service that assists Chase City families who have loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Through our free search tool and database of Alzheimer’s care facilities, families in need of care for their loved ones can locate licensed care homes and communities in the Chase City area that are best equipped to provide care for their loved ones.

The town will be conducting our annual Spring Clean Up the week of April 18-22. Please have your brush and debris out during this week that we have dedicated to keeping Chase City clean and clear of debris and junk.
We will NOT be taking batteries, tires, paint or corrosives, you must dispose of those yourself at the regional landfill. If you have any questions, contact the Town Shop at 372-3220.
The Town of Chase City is seeking applicants for the position of PRN Records Clerk at the Chase City Police Department. Applicants should have knowledge of clerical skills and experience with computers. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. May have to work some holidays. Some dispatching involved.

Beginning today, a company will be in Town changing out water meters. The trucks will have a sign that says VEPS working for Chase City on the side. Your water will be off for approximately 10 - 15 minutes when they change out your water meter.
